SoE Makes Public Everquest AnnouncementSony Entertainment recently sent out an email to many of their account holders. The content of this email was largely routine, but there was one vital piece of info that set many minds afire - there's a new EQ server being voted on and announced in March 2009. The most important section of the content appears below. |

Important Information Regarding Your EverQuest® AccountNew Worlds of AdventureOn January 21, 2009, EQ will be consolidating "The Combine" server and "Druzzil Ro (Tarew Marr)" server into one server to be titled "Druzzil Ro (Tarew Marr, Combine)." The merge will begin at 3 a.m. PST and will last approximately five hours. In addition, in conjunction with the upcoming EQ 10th Anniversary celebration, SOE is expecting to add a new EQ server in March 2009 and players will be able to vote on a new server type. To provide your input on the type of server you'd like, visit EQplayers.com in January. We hope that these changes will provide players with an even more enjoyable EQ experience. |

New Everquest Server and ausMMOWell. A new Everquest server eh? A (final?) chance to relive the magic, accomplishment and downright fear..all over again. ausMMO has already got a hardy group of elite players & old EQ stalwarts lining up to take a solid swing at this new server. And why wouldn't we? This server is going to mark the TENTH anniversary of the magic of Everquest. What more fitting way to commemorate that momentous occassion with a new progression server that takes Everquest back to its original roots in Lower Guk, Everfrost and Kithicor? What other server type would the community vote for, if not progression? If you've previously played Everquest and would be keen to get into a solid, well organised and achieving guild, drop by the ausMMO forums or, if you just want to read up on Everquest, try our forums dedicated to Everquest or alternatively, our Everquest resources database. As you can see, we're not pissing around here - this is serious sam stuff that we fully plan to start, smash and finish. If you got game, get your game on with ausMMO. If you don't, you should drop by anyway and keep in contact with the Australian MMO community at ausMMO, regardless of what game you play, or which guild you're in. |
